We have now finished deploying windows 7 to all student laptops, Windows 7 runs much better and faster however there are currently a few known issues, these are:
1. When attempting to logon you may see the error “There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request”. If this is the case, then please restart the laptop. If the error message appears after a restart of the laptop then please create a helpdesk ticket.
2. When attempting to logon, a student may see a second logon screen which says Novell Zenworks, if this is the case, could you please shutdown this laptop and create a helpdesk ticket.
3. If Office 2010 does not appear on the desktop you will need to create a helpdesk ticket stating the laptop number.
