How to set up an archive

If you have never archived your mail and do not have an archive directory set up, then follow these steps:

  1. Log into the GroupWise software client.
  2. Go to Tools, Options, Environment.
  3. Select the File Location tab.
  4. In the box that says Archive directory, type in F:\GWArchive. Click on Apply. If it asks you "do you want to create the directory", click yes. NOTE: This should be done to your home folder only and not any where else (e.g. C drive)
  5. If it then asks "if you want to move your current archive to the new directory", click No.
  6. Click OK to close the dialog box.

Viewing archieved emails

1.      In the Main Window, click File > Open Archive
